  • Preschool: This class program is designed for 3&4 year olds that are potty trained and ready to transition into a more structured learning environment

    3 classes offered per class group

    Nursery - This is provided for those volunteering with children 2 and under. Only volunteers can use this service.

    *older students (6th+) are welcome to participate as students or classroom helpers. We would love to provide classes for this age group as interest grows.

  • $25 Registration Fee per family

    $25(+$5 per additional student) Co-op Fee - the co-op fee is waived for teachers

    Plus:

    $20(max) Supply Fee per class (3 Classes each)

    OR

    $30 supply fee for Preschool

    For example, a family with 3 students ( preschool, 1st, and 3rd) would pay:

    $25 registration fee

    + $25 + 10 for co-op fee

    + supply fees for 1st and 3rd grade class choices (going to vary)

    + $30 preschool supply fee

    Totaling: $90 plus the varying supply fees for the 1st and 3rd classes

    • Class Teacher: As a Class Teacher you are expected to instruct a 1hr Class. This includes creating the syllabus, providing curriculum/supplies, and managing the environment of the classroom. You may charge a supply fee up to $20/student. You will be provided a Class Assistant. In addition, you are asked to be a Class Assistant for another Teacher. You will also have an hour break with coffee/light brunch. 

    • Class Assistant: As a Class Assistant your role is to support the Teacher and students in executing the curriculum of the course and lead the class in the case of the Teacher’s absence. You will also have an hour break with coffee/light brunch.

    • Nursery/Toddler Room Volunteer: As a Nursery/Toddler Room Volunteer you would provide childcare for all 10 meetings for two of the class periods. You will also have an hour break with coffee/light brunch. This role would fall under the Class Assistant fee structure. 

    • Drop-off Parent: There are no volunteer requirements. Please ensure your student(s) is dropped off and picked up on time. We would love for you to join us for lunch!

    • Floater: A Class Assistant who helps where needed each week (fills in gaps, covers absences, etc)

    • Rover: A person who is in charge of monitoring the flow of the Block Period by checking in on each class to ensure they have all they need. They also help assist in bathroom breaks to ensure we have adequate adults in each class in honor of the insurance protocols.

    • Recess Monitor: Supervises children on the playground after lunch, while the Fellowship Hall is cleaned.

  • Subject and structure is up to the Teacher. Each Class is scheduled for 55 mins

    Expectations:

    • There is a clear objective- what the students should walk away learning. I.e. Know how to sew, know 5 presidents, be able to spell, etc

    • One project (can be very flexible) this can be one overall project, service project, mini crafts throughout the 10 weeks * We plan to have an end of the year showcase to demonstrate your student’s beautiful work!

    • Syllabus that outlines each week that can be shared with parents and students, homework expectations (if any), and has a mini description of the class.

  • We will have three teachers that will split the responsibilities. Taking turns being lead, assistant and an hour break.

    • 10:30 Craft

    • 11:00 Outdoor Time

    • 11:30 Story Time
